Understanding World Rules

Every world has its own rules—here's what they mean

🏗️

Building

Some worlds allow building (Sandbox, Creative) while others don't (Battle Arena, Parkour). Look for the building icon on the world selection screen.

⚔️

Combat

Combat is enabled in Sandbox, Battle Arena, and Paintball Arena. Creative and Parkour are peaceful worlds where you can't be attacked.

📏

Height Limits

Most worlds have maximum build heights to keep the game running smoothly. Creative mode has no height limits—build as tall as you want!

🧱

Block Limits

Some worlds limit how many blocks each player can place to prevent spam. The limit is high enough that most players never reach it.

🗺️

Special Zones

Look for colored areas—these might be spawn protection zones (safe from combat), restricted building areas, or special challenge sections.

Pro Tips & Tricks

Level up your gameplay with these expert strategies

💡

Building Faster

Use large blocks (2×2×2) for quick construction, then add details with full blocks (1×1×1). Switch block sizes in the build menu.

Combat Movement

Keep moving! Strafing (moving sideways while facing your opponent) makes you harder to hit. Jump while moving to dodge attacks.

🎯

Parkour Precision

Don't rush! Take your time on difficult jumps. Practice in the practice area before attempting the full course.

🎨

Paintball Tactics

Use cover wisely! Peek out to shoot, then hide. Coordinate with your team—call out enemy positions in chat.

🌈

Creative Colors

Plan your color palette before building large structures. Complementary colors (opposite on the color wheel) create striking designs.

👥

Team Play

Communicate with your team using chat. In paintball, stick together—lone players are easy targets. In building, collaborate on big projects!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to create an account?

No account required to play! You can jump in immediately as a guest. However, creating an account saves your character customization and lets you keep the same name across sessions.

Can other players destroy my builds?

In most worlds, yes—blocks can be removed by anyone. However, spawn zones are protected. If you want permanent builds, play in Creative mode where the community respects constructions.

What happens if I die in combat?

You respawn after a few seconds with full health. In worlds with a lives system (Battle Arena, Paintball), you have limited lives per session. Run out of lives and you're eliminated until the next round.

Is there a single-player mode?

Terro is designed for multiplayer, but you can explore any world alone if no other players are present. Some worlds have AI characters (NPCs) that you can interact with.

Why is my game lagging?

Try closing other browser tabs to free up memory, make sure no large downloads are running, try a different world with fewer players, or restart your browser.
